TimberTech Platinum Installer
TimberTech Decking, Installed to Specification
Deckmasters holds TimberTech Platinum Installer status — the highest tier of certified installer recognition. We have installed TimberTech Advanced PVC on resort pool decks, luxury residences, and commercial cabana surfaces throughout South Florida.
Why Certification Matters for PVC Decking
TimberTech Advanced PVC expands and contracts more than wood across Florida's temperature swings. Fastener spacing, gap tolerances, and substructure requirements are specific to the product line — and they are not the same as wood or composite. A Platinum Installer has demonstrated the installation knowledge and project volume to earn that designation. Deckmasters has held it across years of residential and commercial work.
The Hard Rock Guitar Hotel in Hollywood, Florida is among the documented commercial installations — TimberTech Advanced PVC specified for the pool deck and cabana surfaces at a high-traffic resort property. The same installation discipline that a commercial resort demands applies to every residential project we take on.
TimberTech Advanced PVC
100% PVC construction — no wood fiber. Engineered for resistance to moisture, mold, mildew, and pool chemicals. The correct specification for pool decks, coastal properties, and high-moisture environments. Requires specific fastener spacing and gap allowances for thermal movement.
TimberTech Capped Composite
Wood fiber core with a protective polymer cap on all four sides. Combines the natural feel of wood composite with enhanced stain and fade resistance. Substructure spacing requirements differ from the PVC lines — we follow the product-specific installation guide for each.

Florida Climate and Material Selection
Florida's combination of intense UV, high humidity, salt air, and pool chemical exposure is demanding on any decking material. TimberTech's capped PVC products are engineered for these conditions — the polymer cap resists fading, staining, and moisture absorption. For pool decks and coastal installations, TimberTech Advanced PVC is the appropriate specification. For covered or semi-exposed applications, capped composite is a viable alternative. As a Platinum Installer, we can advise on the right product for your specific site conditions.
